Former LNP senator and Sky News host Amanda Stoker may make a return to the political bull ring.
Stoker, 40, and her family have moved from Bardon in Brisbane to Wellington Point in Redland Bay, prompting conjecture she will contest a seat in the region.
There has been some speculation that the safe LNP seat of Oodgeroo would be available should the popular incumbent Mark Robinson hang up his spurs.
But Robinson, 60, a philosopher and former lecturer with marine biologist qualifications, offered no comment.
Said Stoker: “I would never make a move against Mark.
“Whether or not I make a move to state politics is something I will have to think about in the future.”
Former federal MP Andrew Laming has made no secret of the fact that he would like to contest the seat for the LNP.
Laming, 57, an ophthalmologist recently won a landmark defamation payout after fake misconduct allegations levelled against him on Channel 9 were dismissed.
