A fatal car crash in the Top End has brought the Territory’s road toll to 52 for 2024.
NT Police in a statement on Monday afternoon said a 59-year-old woman had died on Friday after a single vehicle crash on October 15.
The crash occurred at the entrance of a caravan park entry on Doris Rd at Berry Springs.
She was taken to Royal Darwin Hospital.
NT Police confirmed the woman later died due to complications from her injuries on October 18.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
The circumstances of the crash are also under investigation, police said.
The crash occurred a day before another fatal crash in Wickham Point, which claimed the life of a 29-year-old woman.
