Woman dies, man taken to hospital after house fire in Sydney’s Inner West
A woman, believed to be in her 80s has died and one man has been taken to hospital after a house fire in Sydney’s Inner West.

A woman has died after a house was engulfed in flames in Petersham overnight.
At around 11.50pm on Friday emergency services attended a terrace on Westbourne Street, Petersham, after reports of a fire.
Residents in neighbouring properties were evacuated by police, while Fire and Rescue NSW battled to extinguish the blaze.
A body, believed to be that of an 82-year-old woman, was found inside the home. She is yet to be formally identified.
A 57-year-old man was treated by paramedics at the scene for smoke inhalation before being taken to hospital in a stable condition.
An investigation has now commenced and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
