The NRL couldn’t get Donald Trump to go to Las Vegas for the season opener, but they may get Dua Lipa to Belmore.
While night one of her Sydney tour was full of Lipa’s biggest hits, the highlight of her spectacle was a fan begging the international star to make her way to see one of the NRL’s most popular teams, the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs.
Wearing her iconic black body suit, which was also seen when she performed with Troye Sivan in Melbourne just days ago, the 29-year-old scaled the crowd to interact with some fans, leaving one almost speechless when asking what she should do while staying in Sydney.
The man who called himself Steven told Lipa he was “having the best time of my life right now,” before she placed a hand on his shoulder and asked the all important question.
“Is there anything you think I should do while im out here that I shouldn’t miss,” Lipa asked.
“Oh there’s so much you got to do,” Steven replied.
“Bulldogs, Bulldogs NRL.”
Lipa laughed before taking a photo with the fan.
Now, it should be noted Lipa will be unable to attend the Bulldogs round four clash against the Sharks in Cronulla, unless she wants to miss or delay her final Sydney show.
However, NRL clubs have previously shown they don’t mind a celebrity drop in at training.
Lipa was up early on Thursday morning, posting to her Instagram some pictures from her Sydney accommodation in one of her blue and red bikinis.
“Kisses from Sydney,” she captioned.
“In my fave Radical Optimism bikini.”
The British performer has two shows left in Sydney, performing on Friday and Saturday before heading to New Zealand.
