A teenager has died following a two-vehicle crash in the upper Hunter Valley.
Emergency services were called to Maitland St, Muswellbrook, after reports of a serious collision between a motorcycle and a ute at around 5.30pm on April 15.
Officers from the Hunter Valley Police District attended the scene and found that the rider of the motorcycle — a man believed to be in his late teens — had died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified.
The driver of the ute, along with a 19-year-old male passenger, were not injured.
The driver was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
A crime scene was established, and police have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
