A scuba diver has been rushed to hospital after being pulled from the water at a popular swimming spot in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

A scuba diver has been rushed to hospital after being pulled from the water at a popular swimming spot in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
A woman – believed to be in her thirties, was rescued from the water at Shelly Beach in Manly on Wednesday morning after “getting into a bit of trouble” while scuba diving.
Video footage taken at the snorkeling hotspot shows multiple NSW ambulance paramedics carrying the woman across the shore on a stretcher, as a crowd of swimmers gather around her and watch on.
NSW Police confirmed emergency services were called to the popular beach at around 10:25am following reports the scuba driver required urgent help.
Ambulance crews arrived at the scene shortly after and assessed the woman before transporting her to Northern Beaches Hospital.
