Premier Gladys Berejiklian has warned that 4000 people could be asked to evacuate their homes with the deluge set to continue pounding the state. The state’s flood disaster is expected to come with a massive clean-up bill. Warragamba Dam would have needed to be drained to just 25 per cent capacity to avoid overflowing.
