Max May

Anyone who is anyone knows May’s name. He has been on the scene for more than a decade, first having made a name for himself as Lara Worthington’s makeup artist and bestie. He has worked with other high-profile celebrities including Elle Ferguson, Jackie “O” Henderson, Roxy Jacenko, Rose Byrne, Kate Bosworth, Rita Ora and Jodi Gordon. His work has graced the pages of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire and Russh.

Serena Wyllie

Wyllie is known for her signature fresh bronze makeup looks for celebs including Zoe Foster-Blake, Megan Gale, Jessica Gomes, Tahnee Atkinson and Erika Heynatz.

Rose Blackburn

If you have a profile and live on the Northern Beaches, you have likely had your makeup done by Blackburn. She is the go-to makeup artist for the social set including Sophie Monk, Ellidy Pullin, Chloe Fisher, Laura Enever, Flick Palmateer and Jayde Couldwell.

Chloe Langford

Remember the photograph of Jade Yarbrough alongside former cricketer Michael Clarke which went viral? Well, many say it was due to Yarbrough’s winged cats-eye eyeliner look, now a favourite look among Sydney’s A-listers.

Luhrs, or “Jo My God” as she is known by her A-list clients, doesn’t know what a day off is. Peter Beard

Gillian Campbell

Mia Hawkswell

Hawkswell is known by her picture-perfect clients as Mia Makeup. She is a favourite of Sydney’s rich and famous including Sonia Kruger, Rachael Finch, Samantha Wills and Nadia Fairfax. She is dating Nine entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins.

Amy Jean

She isn’t exactly a makeup artist, but gets Sydney’s celebs photo ready by ensuring their brows are immaculate. With salons across Australia and regular consultations in London, Singapore, LA and Dubai, Jean is the go-to girl for Rita Ora, Caroline Standbury and Holly Candy.

Heidi Scarlett King

Heidi Scarlett King is an internationally recognised Makeup artist with a career spanning across 25 years in London, Europe & Australia.

Her main background starting in fashion shapes her keen eye for beauty that has seen Celebrity likes of Lara Stone, Jerry Hall, Eva Herzigova, Duran Duran, Delta Goodrem, Olivia DeJonge, Rita Ora & G Flip in her chair.

Now working in Sydney on Campaigns, celebrities as well as running her own Hair & Makeup Artist Agency, Heidi is a sought after artist.

Jess Pecoraro

Pecoraro is another top stylist, who has access to every major local and international brand, allowing her to put together the ultimate outfit.

She is credited as the stylist who has revolutionised Jackie ‘O’ Henderson’s style and helped cement her status as one of Australia’s most well-dressed celebs. She also looks after Georgia Fowler, Montana Cox, Rebecca Harding and Jesinta Franklin.

Known as the woman who holds celebrities’ secrets, Uva has worked with a number of homegrown talent including Delta Goodrem, Bec Judd, Maria Thattill, Megan Gale, Lauren Phillips, Jen Hawkins and Nadia Bartel.

George Zara and Stelio Nemitsas

Zara and Nemitsas, who work out of the Joh Bailey salon in Double Bay, are the go-to guys for socialites including Sylvia Jeffreys, Deborah Symond O’Neil, Lucia Hawley, Costeen Hatzi, Steph Conley-Buhre, Matilda Murray, Olivia Bond and Rey Vakili. To be honest, everyone at the salon gives a 10/10 Joh Bailey blow out. It comes as no surprise as Bailey taught these guys how to do their thing.

Perhaps one of Sydney’s most elusive and exclusive hairdressers, Giavis tends to the tresses of some of our city’s (and world’s) most famous and successful people at The Blonde Room in Woollahra – but he will never give them up.

“Most of my clients are successful people who crave privacy. As a hairdresser I am often the keeper of secrets, so I keep my posting very discrete,” he has said.

Hair stylist and salon owner Cherniayeff is the woman behind many blonde-dos in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, known for creating trends in colour and styling.

Having built a high-profile clientele at her former salon MOB Hair in Bondi, Cherniayeff is now appointment only to an inner circle of top models, celebrities and influencers including Dina Broadhurst, Bernadette Sukkar, publicist Montarna McDonald and actor and content creator Kath Ebbs.
