Man dead, four injured in bus and car crash at Rouse Hill
A man has died and four people including a child have been injured after a crash between a bus and a car in Sydney’s Hills area this evening.

A man is dead and four people including a child have been rushed to hospital after a serious car crash in the Hills district this evening.
About 7pm, a bus and a car collided on Sanctuary Dr near Windsor Rd Rouse Hill.
It’s understood the car was inside the busway when the crash occurred.
A man in his 60s, who was a passenger inside the silver Honda, was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.
The driver, a man in his 40s, was trapped inside the vehicle for some time, with with firefighters using hydraulic equipment to cut the roof of the silver Honda off and free him.
He was treated at the scene for chest and upper limb injuries before being taken to Blacktown Hospital in a stable condition.
Three other passengers were also taken to hospital following the crash.
A four year-old with abdominal injuries was taken to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in a stable condition, while a 39 year-old woman with chest and abdominal injuries and a woman in her 60s with chest and pelvic injuries were both taken to Westmead Hospital each in a serious but stable condition.
The bus driver was uninjured and was taken to Blacktown Hospital for mandatory testing.
No passengers were on-board the bus at the time of the crash, which was not in service.
Police have established a crime scene which will be examined by Crash Investigation unit officers.
