Cyclist dies after collision with car on Princes Highway, Waterfall
A woman has died after the bicycle she was riding was struck by a car in Sydney’s south, forcing road closures and a police investigation into the crash.

A woman has died following a crash on the Princes Highway at Waterfall in Sydney’s south on Tuesday morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 8am following reports that a cyclist had been struck by a car.
Despite efforts by paramedics, the woman, believed to be in her 70s, died at the scene.
The driver of the car, a 23-year-old woman, was taken to Sutherland Hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers established a crime scene and launched an investigation into the circumstances of the collision. A report will be prepared for the Coroner.

All southbound lanes of the Princes Highway remain closed at Waterfall.
Light vehicles are being diverted into McKell Ave, while heavy vehicles are being parked in the area.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and check Live Traffic NSW for updates on road closures.
