“We say it gets bigger every year and that’s because somehow, it does, and it was enormous when it started!

“The SOLD OUT sign was up days out – everyone wants to be there to experience it.

“It’s exciting, it’s fun, it’s a party, and the track falls silent for a split second before the big race and then the place goes wild.

“We know the Everest is a Group 1 race, now there’s huge prize money and the rock stars of racing – the horses and the humans – are all involved.

“Add to that the potential visit of the King and Queen – fitting for the running of the King Charles III Stakes. Doesn’t get any bigger.”

Ronan Keating, Kate Waterhouse and Michael Maguire are set to attend The Everest.

Irish singer Ronan Keating will be among revellers, as will Real Housewives of Sydney star Krissy Marsh and fashionista Kate Waterhouse, daughter of legendary horse trainer Gai.

“The Everest is such an exciting race on and off the turf with $20 million in prize money,” Waterhouse said.

“It attracts a huge crowd. Not only is it a great day of racing but it is one of world-class fashion. People really go over and beyond with their fashion choices and the nod to the blue theme is an elegant touch.”
