A TEENAGER has been charged with allegedly committing a hit and run after a 54-year-old man was found dead on the road in the Victoria Daly region over the weekend.

A TEENAGER has been charged with allegedly committing a hit and run after a 54-year-old man was found dead on the road in the Victoria Daly region over the weekend.
A 14-year-old boy has been charged with driving cause death, hit and run causing death, driving without a licence and driving an unregistered motor vehicle.
Police were called to investigate the death of the man who was found on the road in a remote community in the Victoria Daly region.
Investigations found the man had suffered injuries consistent with being hit by a car.
The 14-year-old was granted police bail to appear in court on a later date.
