Vets Scott and Kylie Parry were visiting Darwin for the first time from Coonamble in New South Wales and lauded the Darwin facility.

“This is our first time up here, as vets we’ve had quite a bit to do with racing in NSW, but we’re just visiting here,” they said.

“It’s really nice to come to another race meeting and not be working. And it’s a really lovely facility up here.”

Leonie McNally, wife of the former chairman the late Jim McNally, has been involved in Territory racing for 49 years and graced the Darwin Turf Club once again.

“I was always enjoy coming to the races, which is why I keep coming back,” Ms McNally said.
