THE Parramatta Eels have arrived in Darwin only hours after a public toilet sex tape scandal allegedly involving one of their players became public.

The video shows a man and woman engaging in sex in a public toilet.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the video lasts five seconds and was filmed over the toilet door by a bystander.

The Eels arrived in the Top End ahead of their Anzac Day clash with the Brisbane Broncos at TIO Stadium.

Eels star half back Mitch Moses, who is not the player in the video, said outside Darwin Airport that he didn’t think the incident would distract the squad.

“I don’t think it’s a distraction at all,” Moses said.

“The club will work through it and do what they think is right, whatever happens will happen.

“We’re just here to play footy and that’s our focus.”

Parramatta have since issued a statement confirming it was aware of a video involving one of its players, saying it was “illegally filmed without consent”, and that it was treating the matter seriously.

The NRL integrity unit is also aware of the video and has contacted the Eels as it launched an investigation into the incident.
