A PALMERSTON woman has given birth to a baby girl at home this morning after she called emergency services when she went into labour.
NT St John Ambulance emergency medical dispatcher helped deliver the baby over the phone while the ambulance was on the way.
“We received a triple-0 call from a woman who was in labour at Rosebery early this morning,” operations manager Craig Garraway told ABC Darwin.
“The baby was born just before the ambulance arrived.
“Both mum and the baby are doing well.”
