NT crime: Man allegedly assaults, exposes self to woman at Malak

NT Police are searching for a man who allegedly attacked and exposed himself to a woman while she was on a walk in Darwin.

NT Police are searching for a man who allegedly attacked and exposed himself to a woman while she was on a walk in Malak.

A police spokesperson said the woman, aged in her 60s, was allegedly assaulted near Bayfield Park in Malak while she was walking along the footpath about 9am on Monday.

The offender allegedly indecently exposed himself during the incident.

The woman was able to get away and the man fled the scene on foot.

The alleged offender is described as a medium sized tanned man with Aboriginal appearance, aged between 20 and 30 years old, with short brown hair, and is about 165cm tall.

He is said to have been wearing a khaki-coloured singlet and faded black shorts at the time of the incident.

Serious Crime Squad detectives are investigating and urge anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have footage from the area to make contact on 131 444 and quote reference NTP2500046492.
