ONE of Darwin’s most popular spots for a hit of caffeine has expanded, with Kopi Stop owner Jules Mou opening a second store in the CBD’s Victoria Arcade.
Ms Mou said Lot 523, inspired by the history of the Victoria Hotel that was originally built on a lot of the same name, would provide a spot for office workers to duck out for a quick coffee during the day.
“I’ve always had a liking for this part of town and it’s an opportunity that popped up,” she said.
“It’s such a beautiful space and I think it will be a great spot.
“A lot of our regulars at Kopi Stop work in town so it’s nice to capture them here.
“We just want to bring really good coffee here to share with everyone.”
Ms Mou said she hoped to host training and tasting events at the new shop, as well as the Harriet Place store which was recently expanded.
