North Queensland emergency services called to Hughenden house fire
Fire emergency crews have rushed to put out a house fire in Hughenden as it was reported to be engulfed in flames Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency services including Queensland Police Service are on the scene of a destructive house fire in Hughenden between Mount Isa and Townsville.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Service confirmed two crews were battling a fire in a vacant house on Earl Street in the Outback town.
A QFES spokeswoman said the fire was well-involved when crews were called to the property at 2pm, however were able to bring the blaze under control within 20 minutes.
Queensland Ambulance Service are also on scene but there are no reports of injury.
QPS said a crime scene has been established around the Earl Street property.
“Anyone with information is urged to contact police,” a spokesman said.
“Investigations are continuing to determine the cause of the fire.”
