North Queensland is home to some of the most beautiful natural swimming holes in the world.
As summer temperatures continue to soar, now is the perfect time to discover some of the most beautiful places to wet your toes in the North. Little Crystal Creek and Big Crystal Creek are an hour’s drive north of Townsville at the Paluma Range. Jourama Falls is a popular spot 95km north of Townsville while at a 45-minute drive, Rollingstone Creek is a perfect option for families with young children. Alligator Creek also has great facilities and while Wallaman Falls is a long way to go for a swim, the stunning waterfall makes the road trip worth it.
