NO matter the size, these prized pooches are going social — putting their best paw forward.
Airedale terriers Emilio, 18 months, and Gabi, 14, have formed an unlikely bond with West Highland terriers Hamish and Kiera, both 2.
They “met” on new social networking app DogyTales, that has Melbourne tails wagging.
Running around the Yarraville Gardens, the best buddies spent time chasing, playing and sniffing each other’s you know what.
The dogs were introduced by app co-owner Peter Leslie, owner of Emilio and Gabi, and dog lover Lynda Ford, owner of Hamish and Kiera.
“We regularly arrange play dates. It facilitates more of a personal connection,” Mr Leslie said.
The app’s GPS system allows dog lovers to create a profile, find a playmate at local venues, post warnings and send out lost dog alerts.
