UFO hovers over popular FNQ tourist spot

Jacqueline Raistrick was admiring the clouds during sunset on the Tablelands when she noticed something wasn’t quite right. What she captured on film defies belief.

JACQUELINE Raistrick was admiring the clouds during sunset at Lake Barrine when she noticed something wasn’t quite right.

The Cairns woman was visiting the Tablelands last week when she saw a UFO hovering between clouds during sunset.

Jacqueline Raistrick filmed this UFO above Lake Barrine on the Atherton Tablelands.

She whipped out her phone and started filming straight away.

“What is it? It’s weird. It’s moving up. It’s getting longer, look at it,” she can be heard saying on the video.

“I was just looking at the smoke thinking what’s that line?”

She said in the recording that she was determined to get this footage out.

“Usually when I record something here it disappears, but this time I’m making sure it stays on my phone,” she said.

Another voice can be heard on the video saying: “I swear, if it opens and a light comes shooting out I’m running.”

About four minutes into the video Ms Raistrick can be heard saying the UFO is fading.

“It’s starting to disappear. Look, it’s slowly going.”
