Shock flavour twist for favourite Aussie snack

One of Australia’s most well-loved snacks has announced a shocking twist in its flavour offering.

When most people think of favourite Aussie snack brand Twisties flavours cheese and chicken come to mind.

But now, there’s a new flavour on the block - and it’s not what you’d expect.

Australians will now be able to wrap their lips around raspberry Twisties, dubbed Twisted Raspberry, following a nationwide vote.

For years now, potato chips and other snacks have been offering a wide range of weird and wonderful flavours, such as pulled pork, Vegemite, and Korean barbecue.

Last year, Twisties asked fans to vote for which flavour they wanted to see hit shelves this year.

With three unexpected options to choose from - Cheesy Bacon, Twisted Raspberry and Cheeseburger, it was the sweet variety that came out on top.

After receiving a whopping 6000 votes, the unexpected Twisted Raspberry, described as having a juicy, sweet and sherbet flavour, took the crown.

Those keen to try the new flavour will need to be quick as the new flavour will hit major grocers and selected P&C stores from this June for a limited time only.
