Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced the new case on social media this morning.

“They’re now in hospital, and they are completely secure, so we have absolutely no concerns about that.”
Authorities are now monitoring the vessel.
BORDER TRAFFIC FORCES KIDS TO WALK TO SCHOOL
There are now two active cases in the state, with the last new case recorded on July 13 when a Sunshine Coast woman returned from overseas with the virus.
There have been 1060 patients across Queensland recovered and six total deaths.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the State Government was notified of the new case at the weekend, with health authorities visiting the ship to conduct the testing.
It comes as virus numbers continue to climb in Melbourne, with 275 new cases announced today.
NSW ON ‘HIGH ALERT’ AFTER 20 NEW CASES
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian says the state is on “extremely high alert” after again recording double figure COVID-19 infections.
Twenty new cases of the virus were detected in NSW in the 24 hours to 8pm on Sunday – all of which have been linked to existing clusters.
“Every single one of those is from a known source. Whilst I remain concerned, that is one positive take out,” she said.
Despite the promising news, Ms Berejiklian urged residents to remain on high alert and continue to social distance, minimise non-essential travel and avoid large gatherings.
“We have the opportunity to isolate the cases we have, clamp down and reduce incidents of the virus spreading.”
“Our state continues to be on extremely high alert,” she said.
