An elderly woman, 93, has died at the scene after a horrific two-car crash on the Gold Coast.

AN ELDERLY woman, 93, has died at the scene after a horrific two-car crash in Surfers Paradise.
Investigations by Queensland Police into the crash on Monday night suggest she was a passenger in a Honda City sedan travelling south on Remembrance Dr about 7.30pm.
Police believe a Toyota Corolla heading in the opposite direction was turning at the Clifford St intersection when the crash occurred.
Paramedics assisted the 93-year-old woman, but she died a short time later.
The woman driving the Honda, 71, was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Toyota, a 25-year-old woman, was not physically injured.
Police have urged anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has dashcam footage, to phone Policelink on 131 444.
