Former AFL player agent Ricky Nixon has been charged after allegedly making a threatening social media comment towards police, with charges including a threat to kill.

Former AFL player agent Ricky Nixon has been charged after he allegedly threatened to harm a Victoria Police officer online.
The 62-year-old was arrested outside his Bay St apartment in Port Melbourne on Thursday morning.
Police later confirmed they had charged Nixon with intimidating a law enforcement officer, make threat to kill and using a carriage service to menace.
Police confirmed the charges relate to a series of posts on Facebook.
He was bailed to face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on July 4.
It is understood the disgraced former agent made a series of posts and comments online allegedly threatening a Victorian police officer recently.
It is unclear which specific online post the arrest relates to but it follows a string of recent activity on his public Facebook account.
Nixon, who calls himself “Chicken”, was responding to a user online who asked if he was “alright”.
“No on a mission to leave as meany (sic) cop c---s dead,” Nixon allegedly wrote.
An alleged rant online about police officers then followed shortly after.
“I’m on a mission to bury these c---s big time,” he allegedly posted.
Nixon was placed in handcuffs on the street and tossed into a divisional van wearing a blue polo shirt.
“Police have arrested a man in Port Melbourne this morning, following an alleged threatening social media post,” police said in a statement.
“The 62-year-old Port Melbourne man was taken into custody where he will be interviewed by detectives.
“The investigation remains ongoing.”
The former agent remains locked in a wild legal dispute over the alleged fraudulent sale of football memorabilia.
