Test your political knowledge to be crowned Australia’s first SuperVoter

Test your knowledge against other political buffs for your chance to be crowned Australia’s first SuperVoter. Find out how.

Play SuperVoter now

It’s not an election day without a democracy sausage. And now one lucky punter not only has the chance to be crowned Australia’s SuperVoter but the winner of the inaugural SuperVoter Golden Sausage trophy.

From Saturday, tipsters will get to pit their political knowledge against each other by playing SuperVoter by picking the winner of each of the 151 seats contested in the May 21 election.

The SuperVoter website will include the results of the 2019 election and the margins by which the seats are held. This will allow players to whittle down the seats to the 30 or so electorates in play.

Entries will be time-stamped and the first person to pick all 151 winning seats, or the highest number of correct seats, will be declared the winner.

“SuperVoter is the chance that political nerds like me have been waiting for to test our skills and knowledge in a real federal election campaign,” political junkie and SuperVoter ambassador Joe Hildebrand said.

Joe Hildebrand is the ambassador for SuperVoter.

“All those arguments in the pub can finally be settled and election night pundits can finally prove they really know their stuff.

“I honestly haven’t been this excited since the last Star Wars movie came out. And when I found out that as ambassador I wasn’t eligible to enter it was the most disappointment I’d felt since … well, also since the last Star Wars movie came out,” Hildebrand said.

“It’s just lucky for every armchair strategist and social media activist out there they will not have to compete with my supreme political acumen.

“It’s also totally fun, totally free, and totally easy - so it’s probably the cleanest political process in the country.

“And so as us powerbrokers like to say: Vote early, vote often!”

The winner will be determined at 10am (AEST) on the Wednesday following the final polling results for the House of Representatives for all 151 electorates (including all poll recounts or disputes) being published by the Australian Electoral Commission.

Those who enter will receive a voucher for a one month free FLASH subscription to stay up to date with election news.

SuperVoter will run on all of News Corp Australia’s metro and regional titles, news.com.au and The Australian. To play go to: www.SuperVoter.com.au
