The third election campaign leaders’ debate between Anthony Albanese and Peter Dutton quickly got personal.
The Prime Minister accused his rival of “talking Australia down” with “constant opposition and carping”. The Opposition Leader said Mr Albanese was “loose with the truth” and “couldn’t lie straight in bed”.
But the debate also included a few rare moment of bipartisanship, including both leaders vowing to forge ahead with social media age limits and saying they admired their opponent for being a great dad.
