Heckler ejected from PM press conference

Peter Dutton has confirmed he will negotiate to form a minority government, but has ruled out doing it with Teals “pretending to be disaffected Liberals” when they’re really “hardcore Greens”.

He also refused to say how much Australians will save on electricity costs after he promised the Coalition’s gas plan would deliver lower prices by the end of this year.

Mr Dutton and Anthony Albanese were heckled as they fight to win key seats in Queensland.

Mr Albanese’s press conference was derailed after a member of the public who interjected shouting: “I can’t get rentals, I can’t get housing anymore.”

A protestor gate crashed Mr Dutton’s first campaign stop at the XXXX brewery, accusing the him of “lying” to the Australian people about the cost of his nuclear energy policy.

Another climate protestor gate crashed a second election stop for Mr Dutton.

Mr Albanese also toured the Bundaberg Brewing Factory where he had a ginger beer before he pledged $16m for a swimming pool in the Labor-held seat of Eden-Monaro.
