In Year 3, I was too afraid of ‘getting into trouble’ to show what I was capable of. Mr H taught me the curriculum, to love myself, to tap into my superpowers, be brave and when to breathe. I am now Primary School Captain and a Queensland Cricketer because I continued along the path to excellence we walked. I lead from a place of kindness, inclusivity and confidence, paying forward the lessons he taught me.
