She’s switched from one of the most wholesome professions to one of the more risque — with the express purpose of teaching Aussie couples how to have better sex.
Katy Bampton, 29, quit her job as a kindergarten teacher to join her husband Rob Bampton, Australia’s number one adult content creator, on the online site OnlyFans.
Bampton, who goes by the stage name Robbie Oz, rakes in a staggering $70,000 per month for his explicit sex videos.
He said he and his crossfit athlete wife — who is bisexual — have a deep understanding of each other and are “open to helping her explore her desires”.
The Gold Coast-based entrepreneur said a feeling of disconnectedness between his mind and body originally led him into developing his sexual mastery teachings for an online audience.
“It was kind of through my own journey, so I kind of got to a stage myself where I was numb and I guess I was looking for a bit of depth and to take things to the next level,” Bampton said.
“And then I stumbled across sex coaching. First of all, I just did the general, like typical sex coaching course that taught you the techniques and the mindset around it.
“So I had all these techniques, but it still wasn’t what I wanted. And then I actually got in. I did a 12-month Tantric coaching thing, and that changed everything because it helped me learn about, I guess, the energy behind it all.
Bampton’s success on the OnlyFans platform, where he gives subscribers explicit masterclasses in sexual techniques, has gained him a massive following.
He is regularly inundated with messages from OnlyFans subscribers, many of them women and couples, telling him he has helped them spice up their flagging sex lives.
“I originally had quite a big YouTube following and a lot of it was demos and stuff like that.
And then YouTube deleted my account, so I was like, ‘Right, where do I go from here?’
“So I went to the OnlyFans platform because I knew they would enjoy my stuff. And it also meant I could show my actual demonstrations on an actual person.
“For the first six months it was just steady and then it started to just take off. And I went from, you know, earning around $1000 a month to earning $60,000 to $70,000 a month.”
Bampton describes his content as “a mix of entertainment and education”.
He will appear with his wife at Sexpo 2022 in Brisbane, giving live demonstrations on stage to help Aussies spice up their sex lives by demonstrating the art of touch and various erotic techniques.
Despite his immense earnings, Bampton says he is not in it for the money.
“The end goal is still just to have the house and the family.
“And for us, the messages that we get from people saying, you know, we’ve saved their marriage.
“At the end of the day, that’s the fulfilling part of it.”
Sexpo Australia – Brisbane 2022 is on at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from July 22 to July 24
