More than 30 anti-Adani protesters this morning lined the footpath in front of a Gold Coast company linked to the controversial Carmichael mine.
The anti-Adani protesters waved placards and got plenty of attention from motorists with supportive beeps.
The protest action is part of a nationwide campaign against GHD.
GHD is one of the biggest contractors working on Adani’s Carmichael coal mine in North Queensland.
There was a small police presence at the protest.
The protesters chanted and gave speeches out the front of GHD offices.
While most people were supportive of the action with beeping horns, a number of motorists yelled abuse.
“Get a job you hippie f**ks,” one driver yelled.
Police remained at the front of the offices, although protesters told the Bulletin they wouldn’t glue themselves to anything.

Marie Carvolth from Stop Adani Gold Coast said they were specifically targeting GHD as one of the largest contractors on the project.
“GHD claim to support environmentally and socially responsible projects ... there’s nothing responsible about working with Adani,” she said.
“We’re expecting around 40 protesters here today and we’re here to show GHD there’s a strong opposition, locally, to them helping Adani build the mine.”
The crowds dispersed just before 9am.
A number of bemused GHD workers were seen watching on as the anti-Adani protesters chanted and sang.
The protest was peaceful and no one was arrested or asked to move on.
