A female motorcyclist has suffered a serious leg injury in a single-vehicle accident on Magnetic Island.
Queensland Ambulance and Police services responded to the scene of the crash on Nelly Bay Rd in Nelly Bay just after midday on Wednesday.
Initial reports from the scene were that a woman had collided with an embankment and suffered a broken leg.
Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed the victim had suffered a “significant leg injury”.
A QAS spokesman said the adult woman had been transported to the Magnetic Island Primary Care Clinic in a stable condition.
