Gold Coast commuters face a crawl down the M1 after two trucks collided during peak-hour traffic.
Emergency services were called to the collision on the Pacific Motorway southbound near the exit 49 off-ramp at Pimpama just after 8am on Monday.
The crash meant two lanes of the southbound carriageway were closed, a Queensland Fire Department spokesman said.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said there was some delay in clearing the scene as both trucks needed to be towed.
No one was seriously injured in the crash or needed to be taken to hospital, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said.
The QPS spokesman said the crash was causing traffic delays.
