A Withcott man got the call of a lifetime yesterday, when he took home $100,000 in the Lottery.

Winning from an entry of seven random numbers in the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot on April 16 the man said the minute he gets the money he is hoping straight on a plane.

The lucky winner said it has been a long time since he has been on holiday and that’s the first thing he wants to spend his winnings on, as soon as he finds his passport.

“Once the money hits our bank account, I reckon a holiday could be on the cards. Somewhere warm and with a beach could be nice,” he said.

“It’s wonderful! I didn’t think I’d ever win the big one.

“I saw a story about a local fella winning Lucky Lotteries recently, and so I thought I’d give it a whirl myself.

“I’ve already got a bottle of red wine cracked open to celebrate the win. I think we’ll be celebrating this one for a while.”
