The cobwebs have been blown out, now the action can truly hit overdrive.

Round two of the North Queensland Gridiron League will be livestreamed here once again, with another double header in Townsville taking place on Saturday.

Home town champions the Cyclones will be out to complete an early sweep of the Cairns sides, when they get their first taste of the new Mulgrave Vikings outfit from 7pm.

They will do so with an even stronger team, as Cyclones skipper and running back Kyle Reynolds returns to the fold.

On the back of a 38-12 triumph over the reigning Reef Bowl victors, the Cairns Falcons, Townsville will be looking to heap the pain on the fledging side, who suffered a 22-0 defeat to Mackay last week.

That match up will come after the Mavericks take on the Falcons from 3.30pm.
