Annie Knight, dubbed Australia’s most sexually active woman, says she never lied about her relationship with her fiance Henry Brayshaw, saying he’s still her best friend and is wholly supportive of her adult entertainment career.
Knight dropped their engagement bombshell on Monday night which left many wondering if it was a prank.
On Wednesday, Knight said the pair have both dated other people during the past decade and it wasn’t until November 2024 that things started to “come together” for the best friends.
“One thing to note is that all of our friends and all of our family always said you guys are going to end up together and getting married blah blah blah,’’ Knight said in a social media video.
“Him and I had chatted about the fact we do want to be together in the future but that I had my career I was focusing on and he had certain goals he wanted to achieve before we did that. We had this beautiful summer together and the feels were there ... the love and support is just so real.”
The controversial OnlyFans star said there was no secrecy — after a beautiful summer together it got serious a week ago in Los Angeles. He had been with her in Cancun, Mexico, were she “popped seven college boys’ cherries” to make it 76 in total.
“I’ve also had a few people comment on Henry’s post announcing the proposal, saying that he lied to them and said that I was just a friend and that he went on a date with them back in December,” she said.
“Which is all true.
“Henry and I have known each other for 10 years, we sort of dated early on. It wasn’t the right time.
“I think the fact that we decided to stay friends after that says a lot.”
Knight added: “Henry has always been supportive of my career, he understands that I’m a workaholic, I love my work, I love my job and everything about it. He understands I have goals I want to achieve. I am still doing challenges that is not stopping.”
She said it may seem like things have moved quick to some but they have long shared a connection.
“We have been supportive of each other so much, we love each other so much. It doesn’t feel like we’ve been together a week, it feels like we’ve been together for 10 years,” she said.
“They always say, ‘when you know you know’, and we don’t want to waste any more time.”
Knight confirmed she would still be creating adult content and would share more details soon.
In a new vlog titled ‘Best day ever’, Knight posted about the day and her surprise when Brayshaw got down on one knee at a ritzy Beverly Hills restaurant.
“Will you let me be your silly mother f...er for the rest of your life,’’ Brayshaw says.
Earlier in the day, Brayshaw had gone with one of their friends to buy the ring and she filmed them picking up the stunning sparkler.
Still with no clue, Knight was shocked when the waiter lifted dessert which had a little chocolate sign saying ‘will you marry me?’
She exclaims ‘what’ and tears up when Brayshaw puts the ring on.
The next frames show her calling her dad — “he was so happy for us” — and other friends to share the news with applause from the restaurant staff.
Knight posted and then deleted pictures to Instagram on Monday night with Brayshaw, the son of Channel 7 and Triple M sports commentator James Brayshaw.
The mystery of Monday night’s posts, showing the pair enjoying a romantic dinner when Brayshaw asked for the 27 year-old’s hand in marriage, were solved on Tuesday when they both shared the pictures again and confirmed the happy news.
“All bets are off, I’m the winner … I love you @anniekknight,’’ Brayshaw posted on a series of loved up pictures.
Knight posted to her Instagram stories and over 185,000 followers: “Can’t wait to share the details with you all soon! Such a special night, still taking it all in but thank you for all the messages.”
She also wrote: “Not going anywhere” along with a lock emoji, and also “The hype is real” along with a love heart.
Just prior to posting engagement pictures she recapped her time in Cancun, Mexico.
“I popped seven college boys’ cherries at spring break in Cancun so I’d say the stats are pretty good for what, seven days there, one each day plus the 76 in total that I got,’’ she said.
In the images Brayshaw had presented Knight with a dessert that featured the words, ‘Will you marry me?’.
She said yes and posed with a huge smile, writing: “All bets are off, I’m the winner … I love you”.
Knight, who revealed plans to sleep with 1000 men this year, reunited in Cancun with English pornographic film actor and OnlyFans content creator Bonnie Blue.
Blue has recently claimed to have had sex with 1,057 men in 12 hours.
Knight, who studied at Melbourne’s elite Loreto Mandeville Hall high school and later went to the University of Melbourne, has not previously spoken of having a committed relationship.
Brayshaw has appeared in previous posts with the adult star calling him her ‘best friend of 10 years’ on a recent podcast.
Brayshaw, who is one of four sons to parents James and his ex-wife Sarah, made headlines himself in 2019 after pleading guilty to punching and threatening a man during a drug-fuelled New Year’s Eve rampage.
Brayshaw promised to behave himself for a year to avoid conviction over the drug-fuelled episode and appeared in the Frankston Magistrates Court.
The court heard the Geelong Grammar graduate was high on magic mushrooms when he was harassing a young woman and refused to leave the celebrations at the Portsea property.
