Hunter Biden ended his drug-fuelled relationship with Zoë Kestan in a four-sentence email, the former stripper has revealed.

Ms Kestan met President Joe Biden’s second-eldest son in 2017, when she performed a private dance for him at the Vivid Cabaret strip club in Midtown Manhattan.

Within days of the interaction, the then-24-year-old embarked on an 11-month romance with Mr Biden, who was almost twice her age at the time (47) and in the midst of an addiction to both alcohol and crack cocaine, taking pulls from a glass pipe “every 20 minutes”, Ms Kestan told The New York Times.

Their relationship played out at luxury hotels across New York and LA, where they ultimately agreed to go so that Mr Biden could get sober.

Upon their arrival in California, however, Ms Kestan said the now-54-year-old changed course and booked them a stay at the legendary Chateau Marmont.

During their time at the Chateau, Ms Kestan told The Times, she began to understand how deeply Mr Biden’s addiction ruled his life – retreating to the bathroom while she slept, where “he would set up a laptop and a crack pipe on a chair and stay up all night making phone calls”.

“If no one answered, he would find cam girls on the internet to keep him company,” Ms Kestan recalled, and frequently “mused about posting explicit videos of himself to Pornhub”.

He also began sending her to ATMs to withdraw money “to pay (drug) dealers”.

Despite concerns from Ms Kestan’s mother and friends that Mr Biden’s behaviour was a danger to her, the lingerie designer (who founded the brand WeedSlut in 2017), continued to see Mr Biden until November 18 – the last time she would see him in person until his federal court case this June.

Ms Kestan’s visited Mr Biden in Newburyport, Massachusetts, where he was supposed to be undergoing ketamine therapy to treat his addiction, which she said was clearly not working, given Mr Biden told her he wanted to find powder cocaine to cook into crack.

After a series of bitter arguments the pair had over text, communication between them stopped, Ms Kestan said, until he sent her an email in 2019.

“Hi Zoe. I got married to the love of my life, and I’m happier than I have ever been,” the message read.

“I have begun a new life with my beautiful wife (Melissa Cohen Biden) and ask you to please honour my privacy. Wish you well.”

Ms Kestan told The Times that while her feelings for Mr Biden and their relationship remained complicated, she attempted to move on with her life – intentions that were thwarted when intimate images, videos and text messages were exposed to the world via Mr Biden’s infamous laptop in October 2020.

While she was concerned for her family at the leak, Ms Kestan said she also felt validated by the release of “physical evidence that we spent time together”.

She also learned that Mr Biden had fathered a child with another woman during their relationship.

“I don’t have regrets about anything I did online or with Hunter,” she said.

“I don’t want to live that way.”

Seven years after the two met, Ms Kestan was called to testify in the Federal Court at a case against Mr Biden, in which he was found guilty of three felony charges related to the purchase of an illegal handgun. On September 5, he also pleaded guilty to nine charges in a federal tax case against him.

Until he was controversially pardoned this week by his father, President Joe Biden, Mr Biden had been facing a maximum of 17 years in prison for the tax case, and 25 years for the gun case.

Ms Kestan said she had no comment on the pardon, but that their relationship had cast a shadow on her, personally and professionally, she was still struggling to shake.

“It was only a year of my life,” she said, “but it doesn’t feel like something that should have defined me for so long.”
