A man has been attacked by a knife-wielding assailant outside a western Sydney home.
Emergency workers were called to the Guildford property just before 12.30am on Saturday and found a man with wounds to his face, back and legs.
Police were told the 25-year-old victim had walked out to the front driveway of the Randolph Street home and was approached by a man who stabbed him then fled.
He was taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition, with injuries not considered life threatening
