Three of the four Ibrahim brothers and their inner circle jetted off to Thailand on holidays. Among them were Ryan Watsford and a “professional smugger”, who later discuss the trip and what they think of the brothers. READ THE TRANSCRIPT

It was a chance for three of the Ibrahim brothers and their close friends to relax and enjoy a bit of fun in Thailand. Along for the ride was the professional smuggler.

Here he tells Ryan Watsford what he thought of John and Fadi Ibrahim. He was in fact an undercover operative.

It is not suggested John or Fadi Ibrahim had anything to do with the drug importation.

R Yeah, we had a ball.

J I wish I could have stayed.

R We had so much fun.

R Nah, he’s not, Mick is.

J I though he was. He’s very charismatic.

R He got shot six times man. Survived man.

J Yeah, I heard.

J Where.

R Everywhere, all over. His arm. Bullet came through here and there.

J Why?

R He lost 40kg.

J He’s not a big guy.

J What, um, do they know what f**king happened who did it and shit?

R Yeah.

R Fadi’s one was … we thought he was going to die.

J Were you around?

R Yeah.

R We thought he was going to f**king die.

J How long was he in hospital for?

R He was in a coma for three weeks. He lost 40 or 45 kilos. He couldn’t eat food for two years. He had to drink food through a straw.

J Bullshit.

R And he can’t stomach anything … you know when you get that really full pain? When he eats he’ll have to sit … like, he can only have that chip.

J Even now?

R Now.

R He’s on medication constantly. He was a very, very lucky boy to survive that.

J You know me. I don’t like any of that shit. I don’t like drama. I walk away.
