A woman has been killed after a collision between a car and a cattle truck in a horror weekend of carnage on Toowoomba region roads which has claimed two lives.

A woman has died after a car and cattle truck collided on the Warrego Highway this afternoon.
Emergency crews attended the scene of two-vehicle crash on at Kingsthorpe.
Police said preliminary inquiries indicate a 1.55pm a car was headed west on the Warrego Highway when it has collided with a cattle truck, near the intersection of Brimblecombe Road.
The driver and sole occupant of the car, a 68-year-old Kingsthorpe woman, died at the scene.
The driver of the truck was not physically injured. Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit are continuing.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said the incident had caused nearby powerlines to fall down. Traffic diversions were put in place with both lanes of the Warrego Highway closed.
It is understood the truck was carrying livestock in both trailers with cattle on the loose following the crash.
Police advise motorists to avoid the area.
