Gold Coast man facing serious drug charges following raid

A GOLD Coast man has been denied bail in court where he faces multiple charges including drug trafficking and possessing dangerous drugs.

Adrian Johan Heidt was denied bail when he appeared in South Magistrates Court on Wednesday where he faces multiple charges including drug trafficking and possessing dangerous drugs.

Officers from Taskforce Maxima allegedly found cocaine, MDMA, testosterone and a quantity of cash among other items during a raid at an Upper Coomera home about 8.30am on Wednesday.

The 35-year-old was charged with multiple offences including trafficking dangerous drugs, four counts of possession of a dangerous drug and one count each of authority required to possess explosives.

His case was adjourned to August 5.
