An electro-infused international festival will return to the Gold Coast after injecting $5.75m into the local economy — and you may spot the mayor in the moshpit.
Ultra Beach Gold Coast will takeover Broadwater Parklands on April 11 sporting a “star-studded” line-up from around the globe.
Dutch DJ Martin Garrix, Swedish DJ Axwell, Norway duo Da Tweekaz, Netherlands duo Sub Zero Project, American DJ Knock 2 and more will headline the event.
Festival promoter Travis Grech said they were “really excited” to continue the festival on the Gold Coast after a sold-out event in 2024.
“It was quite the achievement for the team and we are thrilled that the local community benefited with $5.75m injected into the local economy,” he said.
Last year, homegrown DJ and headliner Will Sparks said he was “grateful” for the response and “love shown” to him in his hometown.
“We all can’t be more grateful for the people supporting our livelihoods,” he said.
“This is what we do and I promise it will be worth it.”
Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate said he was planning to attend the festival, which will also feature an array of food trucks and cocktails.
“It’s fantastic to see Ultra Beach Gold Coast return to our majestic parklands for 2025,” he said.
“This festival sets itself apart from others with its rapidly growing Ultranaut fan base.
“Given the Coast is emerging as one of Australia’s best live music venues, I may even become an Ultranaut myself.”
Tickets for this year’s festival, supported by Experience Gold Coast, are from $170 per person.
