Two teens taken to hospital after dirt bike crash on Wallandra Rd in Tallai

Two teens have been rushed to hospital – one in a life-threatening condition – after a dirt bike crash on the Gold Coast. FULL DETAILS

Two teens have been taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a life-threatening condition after coming off a dirt bike in Tallai.

Emergency services were called to a traffic crash on Wallandra Rd in Tallai at 4.15pm on Monday afternoon.

A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said two people appeared to have crashed into concrete and then hit a pipeline.

It was understood the dirt bike was unregistered.

A Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) spokesperson said a significant amount of crew were on scene including the critical care paramedics and high acuity response unit.

A male teenager was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries and female teenager was taken to hospital in a serious condition.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could assist with the investigation to contact them at 131 444.
