Cali Beach Club launched its new special deal for women from Good Friday, with poolside daybeds just $50 down from $350. Guests also get free bottle of bubbles and a food platter – requiring a minimum booking of four female friends. The deal runs all April.
The rooftop venue in Surfers Paradise - with restaurants, bars, swimming pools, and a beach volleyball court also has a hidden golden egg for patrons to find daily over Easter, winning a $2000 VIP booth for friends.
Wicked Nightlife Tours is hosting its usual Saturday night party tour to The Beverly, Empire, Lost Kingdom, Desire and Asylum nightclubs in Surfers Paradise this long weekend.
A one day club crawl $49 pass or $80 weekend special pass features complimentary venue vouchers, an MC host, a dedicated photographer and lots of games.
Retro’s was opening Good Friday 10pm to 5am, with an 8pm start on Saturday and 9pm on Sunday through to 3am.
Fellow Hallmark venue The Lost Kingdom is offering “the biggest jungle party the GC has ever seen” on Good Friday.
Emergency services are pleading for “sensible” behaviour while drinking.
QAS senior operations supervisor Adam Flory said his main concern was people getting in the ocean after a few drinks.
“Follow the directions of lifeguards, swim between the flags, swim between patrolled hours and don’t swim on unpatrolled sections of the beach,” Mr Flory said.
“Let’s be sensible, there’s nothing wrong with having a few drinks but just don’t go for a swim.”
