SEA WORLD is celebrating half a century of operation by giving away a stack of amazing prizes.

The Bulletin has teamed with the favourite family for its 50th birthday by giving away passes for 50 years at Village Roadshow’s theme parks.

The unlimited entry passes will allow winners to not only enjoy Sea World but also Warner Bros Movie World, Wet’n’Wild and Paradise Country.

The giveaway total equates to 500 years and more than $84,500 in theme park tickets and they’re being given exclusively to Gold Coasters.

It’s been a wild ride for the Main Beach park that opened its gates on October 30, 1971.

It has brought the city water shows, rides and an experience with wildlife like nothing Australia had experienced before.

The magic still continues today and Village Roadshow chief operating office Bikash Randhawa said he was proud of what the park had achieved.

“It’s not only a special place for the Gold Coast or Queensland but for all of Australia,” he said.

“No one in Australia has a connection to Sea World, be that through the theme park or what our wonderful marine science team does.”
