A major Gold Coast road was blocked off on Sunday morning after a single-car crash in Southport.
Paramedics transported a person in a stable condition with head injuries to Gold Coast University Hospital after the crash on Marine Parade at 7.24am on Sunday.
A Queensland Police spokesperson said the vehicle was off the road and traffic was back to normal by 8.30am.
They said it’s believed the incident occurred after the driver had a medical issue behind the wheel.
Two injured in Broadbeach moped and car crash
Two people have been injured in a crash involving a moped and a car at Broadbeach.
Emergency services rushed to Monaco St about noon after a moped and car collided.
Two people were taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with lower limb injuries.
The scene has since been cleared.
Person taken to hospital after getting hit by a car – March 6
A person has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Robina on Sunday morning.
Queensland Emergency Services were called to the corner of Cottesloe Drive and Manley Drive at around 6.30am.
The person was taken in a stable condition to Gold Coast University Hospital.
A young woman is being attended to by emergency services on the Gold Coast’s Millionaire’s Row.
A young woman, estimated to be in her 20s or 30s, was lying on the street between Alfred Street and Seaside Ave after an incident about 10.40am.
A witness at the scene said: “She is not moving a lot. She looks pretty young.”
Police, ambulance paramedics and nearby life savers from the beach have rushed to the scene.
QAS say they have had conflicting reports of what happened, everything from bicycles colliding, a pedestrian hit by a car or a two-vehicle crash
The spokesperson said the woman was in a stable condition with shoulder pain when they arrived.
