Police are looking to speak to these three people who they allege made the same crucial mistake in separate incidents at Gold Coast shops.

TURKEY HUNT

Police are investigating the loss of a turkey shortly before Christmas – though not of the feathered variety.

Officers allege that a man entered a Hope Island bottle shop at around 6pm on December 20 and left without attempting to pay for one bottle of Wild Turkey.

Police are also seeking to speak with this man after the alleged theft of alcohol, in this case from a shop in Runaway Bay.

Officers allege that at around 11am on December 19 a man entered the Lae Drive store and left without attempting to pay for one bottle of Chivas Regal and two bottles of Hennessy.

SHOPPING FAIL

Police allege this woman made a crucial error in her Christmas shopping – by omitting to pay for $200 worth of groceries.

Officers allege that at around 12pm on December 12 the woman entered an Abraham Road shop and left without attempting to pay for the goods.
