A Gold Coast lotto winner who scored a $1.2m windfall at the weekend is yet to come forward to claim their prize.
Two Saturday Gold Lotto players - one from the Gold Coast and one from Townsville - each held one of the four division one winning entries with a $1,266,906.25 division one prize.
Paperboxx at Robina Town Centre sold one of the winning entries.
Team leader Harmony Rankin said it was the outlet’s first division one win.
“We couldn’t believe it. We’ve sold a few division two winning tickets – including one in last Saturday’s draw – but never a division one,” she said.
“Our regular customers who come in every week are going to be so excited to see that we’ve finally sold the big one.
“They’ve been saying they want to see a division one plaque up on our wall for a long time.
“We are so excited for the lucky customer and we hope it went to someone who needed it and that it helps them out.”
The Lott spokesman Matt Hart urged everyone to check their tickets to see if they had won.
“These two winners are likely oblivious they each became millionaires over the long weekend,” he said.
“We’re urging anyone who purchased a Saturday Gold Lotto ticket in Townsville or on the Gold Coast to check their tickets today.”
