Fresh from being charged with cocaine possession, high-profile Gold Coast restaurateur Autumn Adams has stepped out at the annual restaurant and catering awards.

Looking resplendent in a flowing white number, Mrs Adams joined staff from her popular Moo Moo steak restaurants at The Star Gold Coast on Monday night.

Her Brisbane and Broadbeach’s Moo Moo The Wine Bar + Grill venues were up for best Steak Restaurant - Formal in the Queensland Hostplus Restaurant and Catering awards. Her Moo Moo 2 U Catering business was a Wedding Caterer finalist.

Mrs Adams was charged with cocaine possession and husband Steve Adams was charged with supply and possession just over two weeks ago. The charges came amid a police bust of an alleged cocaine trafficking ring - neither Mr or Mrs Adams have been charged with traffick-ing. Mrs Adams last week told the Bulletin: “We have appointed lawyers, are taking it very seriously but we are not the subject of the investigation.”

Posting on social media about the awards night out with her team, Mrs Adams wrote: “A night out celebrating Team Moo Moo. No wins this year but all very proud finalists and too many bubbles of course.

“Congratulations to the winners,” Mrs Adams wrote.
