Man in sixties taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after crash between bike and car

A bicycle rider has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after colliding with a car in Palm Beach.

A bicycle rider has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash with a car in Palm Beach on Wednesday morning.

The man, who is in his sixties, who hit by the car at Seventh Ave in Palm Beach at 8.21am.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said he had been taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with life-threatening chest injuries.

Earlier, a woman in her twenties and woman in her seventies were taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash in Labrador.

The younger woman was listed as stable with chest injuries, while the woman in her seventies is not believed to have suffered major injuries.

The accident took place at the intersection of Gordon Street and Turpin Road at 6.28am.
